At the direction of the Mayor and City Council, the Hagerman Tree and Beautification Committee has worked hard over the last year to develop a tree management plan and a memorial tree program. The City Council has adopted the plan and the memorial program and the Committee will continue to help the City implement them. We hope to see you at the 2009 Arbor Day Celebration in City Park at noon on April 24th.
Trees in Celebration and Trees in Memory
Honor your friends and loved ones with the gift of trees. When we look at the world around us, trees rise to meet the heavens, symbolizing the beauty and hope of an enduring future.Memorial Tree Program
The City of Hagerman with the help of the Hagerman Tree and Beautification
Committee has recently adopted the Memorial Tree and Bench Program. This new
program will provide individuals and organizations the opportunity to donate
memorials to loved ones with the purchase of a tree or other amenity to be
placed in the City park.
Trees in Celebration
Plant Trees in Celebration of birthdays, anniversaries, a new birth, or any
special occasion. By planting Trees in Celebration, you can honor your loved
ones while caring for your environment.
Trees in Memory
A vibrant, beautiful tree benefits everyone in this and future generations. It
can inspire faith, devotion, and courage and carry forth the names of those
memorialized for years to come.
Trees for Pets
Honor the special companion who has meant so much in your life with the gift of
trees. Your pet's tree will live on. Just as your pet was a constant presence
in your daily activities, a Tree in Memory will allow you to share your
companions importance with others.
